The 333 in the product name refers to the three-part hydration system MEDITHERAPY built this formula around. First, 3-second absorption: the watery texture is absorbed almost immediately on contact with the skin, with no wait time or heavy feeling. Second, 3-layer freshness: the formula delivers a fresh, lightweight feel at application while the hydration actives continue to work through the skin's surface layers. Third, 3D Hyaluronic hydration: multiple molecular weight forms of Hyaluronic Acid address different depths of the skin's surface simultaneously rather than just hydrating the outermost layer.
Ectoin is a natural amino acid derivative produced by microorganisms that survive in extreme environmental conditions such as salt flats and hot springs. It functions as a natural stress protectant in cosmetics, helping to stabilize the skin's visible moisture barrier against environmental aggressors including UV exposure, pollution, and temperature extremes. Hyal-Block is MEDITHERAPY's proprietary clustered Hyaluronic Acid system where the HA molecules are arranged in a structure designed to attract and hold visible moisture in the skin more effectively than standard single-molecule Hyaluronic Acid. The clustered arrangement creates a stronger visible hydration barrier that helps maintain plumpness and smoothness throughout the day.

What makes this different from other HA serums?
Most Hyaluronic Acid serums use a single form of Sodium Hyaluronate at a modest concentration in a 30mL bottle. This formula uses four distinct forms of Hyaluronic Acid, adds Ectoin as a visible moisture-retention amplifier, includes Centella Asiatica derivatives for visible soothing support, and comes in a 150mL bottle designed for generous daily application. Should I apply it to wet or dry skin?
Slightly damp skin is ideal. After cleansing, do not completely pat dry. Apply the serum while the skin still has some moisture on its surface. This allows the Hyaluronic Acid to draw from the available water on the skin's surface rather than from deeper layers, maximizing the visible plumping effect. On completely dry skin the visible hydration effect is reduced.

Can I use this under makeup?
Yes. The 3-second absorption and non-sticky texture make it an excellent hydrating base under makeup. Apply, allow to absorb fully, then apply your moisturizer and SPF before makeup. The visible plumping effect helps makeup sit more smoothly on the skin and reduces the appearance of dry patches or texture.

Is this suitable for oily or acne-prone skin?
Yes. The formula is oil-free, silicone-free, fragrance-free, and alcohol-free. Hyaluronic Acid provides visible hydration without adding oil to the skin, making it suitable for oily and combination skin types that still need hydration. The lightweight watery texture absorbs immediately without feeling heavy or occlusive.

How does this work with the other MEDITHERAPY products?
This is designed as the first serum step in a routine. The recommended MEDITHERAPY routine layering order is: 333 HA Serum first (immediately after cleansing on damp skin), then the Retinal Skin Booster Serum (if using), then the Squalane Moisturizer as the final step. The HA serum primes the skin with visible hydration and improves the absorption of subsequent layers.
